Just curious, what does a carbon credit look like? What is it made
of, carbon? Is it bigger than a bread box?
Just a few years ago, I'd never heard of them; now apparently they are
everywhere, although I've never seen one.
If I had planned on buying and driving a big SUV, but now promise not
to, can I sell that promise as a carbon credit?
WTF are they, anyway? Does anybody really know, or is it a case of the
Emperor's new clothes?

I've read everything available about carbon credits, carbon offsets,
etc, and I still don't "get it", but now there is this big red neon
sign in my head that keeps flashing "SCAM, SCAM, SCAM". And I am
