I just ordered an iMac 24". It will be here within a week. I also have a eyeTV hybrid already
(I used this with my previous PowerMac G4). However, the eyeTV hybrid has only a OTA ATSC tuner. Right

Subtitle Files from EyeTV

EyeTV records all the subtitle information in a separate file to the recording. VLC can pick it up
to allow you to display the optional subtitles when playing a DVD encoded from EyeTV? Has anyone tried this?

EyeTV 3.0.3 - Problems with Program Guide?

EyeTV 3.0.3 has an unexpected issue with the Program Guide. In some cases, the EyeTVEPG.db
(database file) may be put into the wrong directory, thus causing problems with Program Guide updates.

Any options besides EyeTV for TV -> AppleTV?

to the AppleTV (in an automated process). EyeTV has this option, just seeing who/whatelse will do it.
EyeTV is the best option for doing this. I have yet to find anything that is as good...
