help needed on installing Debian 4.0 on A180C

Linux on them. But I'm having some problems
installing 4.0r0 from DVD. After booting properly
stops. No errors message what-so-ever.
Installing from the 3.0r4 DVD I had around seems to go

image burnt to CD, it initially
recognises the CD and starts the installation but fails at the screen

Opera 4.1 keeps re-installing

it, it says 'Installing' and I have to agree to the t's + c's, but then when I close and reopen, the same
screen keeps coming up and it keeps re-installing.
