"Illinois: The first NP member heads to Congress, as Danny Davis win an overwhelming 85% victory yesterday (he got a higher percentage of the vote in that district than the President).
NP member and State Senate candidate Barack Obama won uncontested.
Don't know who the New Party is?
Little wonder. It is one of those secrets the media is not reporting on.
Obama not only sought out their endorcement, he ran as a Democrat who was also a member of the NP and used NP members as campaign workers for his senate race.
The New Party was made up of members from the Democratic Socialist Party of America and ACORN, the militant arm of the Democratic Party.
NP also had a number of members who were former Masoist, Trotskyists and Communists.
It seems that the MSM cannot keep national security secrets but when it comes to a little known senator from Illinois, they have all gone deaf, dumb, blind and mute.

You really shouldn't make such a strong statement without some sort of specifics to back it up.
Marx said this, and Obama said that, and there is a similarity there.
Without that kind of specifics to discuss, it really boils down to "I think liberals in general believe in helping poor people, so all liberals are the same." That's the same school of thought that says Jesus was a Marxist.
In fact, you could make a much better case that Jesus was a Marxist than you could that self-made millionaire Harvard-graduate Democratic Senator Obama has lost faith with the political system, views it as an unredeemable evil, supports worker revolution outside of elections, and condemns all established political parties as useless for real change.

Come on, you Republicans were in power for years.
Don't you have anything positive to run on, or do you agree that Republican rule was a complete disaster for this nation in every way?
So the only points on which conservatives are going to run on, are that Obama came from a poor background and has friends from that background.
How about considering - do you want America to be a great country and world leader, or a bankrupt mediorce country?
If we frame the question like that, then clearly Obama is the best choice, not the continuation of proven failed strategies.

But if they could move beyond guilt by association, or superficial links to "bad stuff" just because they want to feel that they are the good alternative, then hopefully they will begin to ask good questions.
Like - how come, if Democrats think they can spend our money as they wish, the GOP increases spending much more and much more secretively than the Dems do?
Boy, I'd like a conservative to address that question.
But, as you say, I can't even get them to admit the unquestionable published fact that the GOP spends more.
