No Abramoff money given to ANY democrats - Christian Forums
Http://www.pastpeak.com/archives/200...crushes_bl.htm
If you look at the article and watch the video, you will see that a few democrats, Byron Dorgan named, took money from Indian tribes, but not from Abramoff.

S ! It's supposed to be a secret.
The republicans want the general public to believe that the democrats are involved by saying Abramoff and associates.
Some may even tell you that a republican that actually received Abramoff money is a democrat, dont let them fool you
Warning: Watching too much Wolfy may turn your brain to mush.

So much for him being an "equal money distributor", as W claimed.

Nearly all Senate Democrats took money steered their way by Jack Abramoff, and Hillary Clinton's fundraising committee has agreed to a $35,000 fine.
It's hypoocritical for Democrats to try to use the Abramoff scandal against Republicans.
Sen.
Clinton was under investigation by the Federal Election Commission starting in 2001 for understating in-kind donations.
Last week her New York Senate 2000 fundraising organization conceded the falsity of its campaign filings and agreed to pay the penalty for underreporting donations.

If it was, I should be able to name a Senate Democrat and you should be able to point me to evidence that they took money that was steered their way by Jack Abramoff.
Could you do that?
(Of course, this is besides the point.
Abramoff is under investigation for giving money and other things of value in exchange for direct action on legislation.
Getting money from lobbyist is not illegal.
Getting money from lobbyists as a bribe is.)

I love the insinuations.
Money 'steered' their way by Abramoff.
Allegations of this steering are, of course, unsubstantiated.

Money paid by Abramoff, of course?

Getting money from lobbyists as a bribe is.) No, his statement is not based in reality, but based in faith, just like you and I put "faith" in the "liberal media".

...no, Rich Lowry has news for you.
Lowry, a conservative republican ideologue, is coming out against Republicans' efforts to portray the Abramoff scandal as bipartisan.
http://www.nationalreview.com/script...0601100816.asp
The GOP now craves such bipartisan cover in the Jack Abramoff scandal.
Republicans trumpet every Democratic connection to Abramoff in the hope that something resonates.
Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D., Nev.), took more than $60,000 from Abramoff clients!
North Dakota Democratic Sen.
Byron Dorgan used Abramoff's skybox!
It is true that any Washington influence peddler is going to spread cash and favors as widely as possible, and 210 members of Congress have received Abramoff-connected dollars.
But this is, in its essence, a Republican scandal, and any attempt to portray it otherwise is a misdirection.
