I think you are right, that must be what happens when your so far into denying yourself any pleasure that your only relief is bringing misery (and awful recipes!) to others. I remember coming home to find a McKeith recipe book in the house.

I buried it in the Garden!

At least it should provide some taste and nutrition to some of the recipes!
