Yes, of course they did;

But sometimes its worth it.

In this instance, it is.

We don't have cap room if we didn't sign him anyway so screw it.

If it was just him alone, i think it would have been an overpayment, but they got Brand so I think that makes the amount he got Ok.

If the 76ers were just gonna be a 7/8 seed team, I wouldn't have wanted to pay him all htat money, but they can compete now.

If they aren't better than a 5th seed team, i'll be more than a little dissappointed
