I check/call I check/call I check/fold Fuper vs UCLABruinz - Two Plus Two Poker Forum
Not much history between us, yes I know betting the flop is viable and probably better but whatev.
I thought about c/r the turn but seemed bad to me vs ucla.
I was def. gonna c/c a lot of rivers but now I don't even beat a lot of the 2 pairs I had beat before and I don't think he would vbet riv with AT, let alone call with it pre.
Thoughts on turn/riv?

Looks fine to me.
Well, maybe bf>cf>cc is better flop play.
It's hard to see how you can play the hand all that profitably on that board OOP v a competent rock.

I am the only one who has a hard time to put uclabruinz on a hand/range?
I don't know a lot about him, is he the kind of player who could possible flat AQ, or even QJ in this spot?
dunno, i guess he was valuetowning w/ AQ, JJ, 99 and (QQ?).
registrar why do you think c/f is better than c/c?
I guess this is just villain based assuming villain is strong right?

Btw. i like how played

UCLA is reknowned as very tight and very solid.
His range for flatting pre and betting this flop against a good player crushes AJ IMO.
Even if he is getting out of line because he knows this is his rep, it's still going to be messy playing second pair over two more streets OOP and he's good enough to put us on fairly clear range once we check/call the flop and then act accordingly.
So, bet the flop, so we can't be bluffed off by 77, and I think check-calling is just meh.

I think c/calling this particular flop against someone like me is asking for trouble.

QFT. Anytime I get postflop against Paul I fold if I don't have quads
|

Just check/fold the flop vs.
Him.

Obv go gme
but yea idc bout flop dont u ppl read op jesus i want comments on turn and riv as played

As played on flop, I'd rather lead turn, by c/c turn I think it allows him to just play optimally vs you.
When ace hits turn you're unlikely to be calling with worse than 2 pair.
Your hand is basically face up w/ turn play since you'd likely bet overpairs/sets/combo draws/AQ/air on flop.
Tbh I don't think you were ever ahead at any point in this hand.
As played on turn I c/f river quickly.
