Why cant people understand that GoW is for god of war not gears of war, why because god of war came a year and a half b4 gears.

I think it becomes rather obvious when people discuss such things.
For example it would be normal to except that in the ps3 forums gow is god of war and in the 360 forum it's gears of war though people will also simply call it gears
