why can black people say nigga and white people cant
I rele think its fucked up that white people cant say the so caled N word
wats the difference.
Black people call white people crackers.
So i can say nigga

The reason why is because of the slave history really.
Do I think anybody should call anybody else the N word, no I dont.
But I think the blacks use it as takin a neg.
To a positive.
I really dont say the word, even tho, Blacks say I can because Im boricua.
That and I got a tan.
I really dont say it much tho.
Anywayz, thats the reason why when white ppl.
Say the word, the blacks flip.

I personally feel like your background makes you able or not able....
Like if you grew up in the culture and your not simply acting or purpetrating then hey use it freely but if your using it negatively or are not accustomed to how we use it n when we use it then your probly in for some type of altercation
mostly i think that black people use it to "take the power" out of the word, but others use it just because its what they grew up hearing

ok but they also dont know that you have a background with the culture, and alot of black ppl dont want anyone but black ppl sayin it...
So id say use it around ppl u kno are ok with it, around new ppl just keep it wrapped up until you know it is ok

ok well my best advice to you is realize that the background of the word "nigger/nigga" is a sensitive issue just as with most white people being called a cracka is offense, so choose who you decide to speak like that around..if the people you greet with as "nigga" dont mind then hey it is a nickname that they choose to go by but like i said the word carries a harsh history that you must respect..it is common courtesy..i hear where u are coming from yet it is such a fine line you must understand that even with free speech u have to see the whole picture first..good luck with that tho..

And by the way i used to think just like you at 16...i was raised in the bay area and went through the same phase where i called all my friends "nigga" or "blood" but where i was from it was common (not right but more accepting) and i moved to a new area and got my eyes opened up quickly..so i aint mad atcha but just know that ppl all over dont all have the same attitudes and if you can save a arguement by greeting them with "whats up mayne/dude/patnah/homie" or whatever it is around others its just a more mature route...
