Is There Any Vice Presidential Candidate ??

Is There Any Vice Presidential Candidate that either could pick, that would cause you to consider no longer voting for the person you thought you might vote for ?

Obama not picking Jim Webb, which is why i have already burned my voter res card.

Obama going with Clinton would have to make me seriously reconsider, and of course McCain going with Romney would make it difficult, but not enough to make me change.

On Jim Webb: He just won that senate seat 2 years ago.

The Democrats would have probably lost a seat to the Republicans in that state over a Webb VP run.

(Besides, career-wise it's the best thing for Webb.

He's not the quiet, easygoing type.

And it seems to me that anyone who either draws attention away from Obama or causes him the slightest embarssment is dropped like a bad habit.

That doesn't seem like a good thing to stake your political future on.

Bully for Webb.) As for Obama?

I think he should pick Bill Richardson personally.

That guy would probably be about as perfect of a Veep as the inexperienced Obama could hope for.

He should also stay away from Hillary at all costs. McCain?

If he picks Huckabee or Giuliani....ecch

If he picks Huckabee or Giuliani....ecch ignoring the black president / mexican jokes, Richardson would also be my pick. for Juanito, I'd go Romney.

Mormon or not, dude's a powerhouse.

Mormon or not, dude's a powerhouse. Between you and me, the GOP constituents blew it in the primaries by NOT picking Romney.

(But then again the so-called "conservative" press spent more time wringing their hands over his religion vs.

What he could have done for the country.)

If he picks Huckabee or Giuliani....ecch Jim Webb was the one chance Obama had.

It would have made the gop actually defend the redneck vote.

Yeah, he might be somewhat of a lose cannon, but hell McCain plays that card and they love him for it.

The Dems need a tough guy like Webb so he could bitch slap McCain on his so-called military record/foreign policy. THE GOP FEARS JIM WEBB.

Webb would have had to have been muzzled as Obama's veep.

I like Webb, but he would have committed political suicide by running with Obama. Haven't you noticed that anyone who ISN'T 100% "with the program" gets dropped like a bad habit on the Obama campaign? McCain plays that card...but even he's dropped it during the election.

It's a moot point.

Yeah i figured the Obama camp prob started looking at Webb ( sorta like an interview), and Obama sitting across the table asking tough questions about Webbs writings etc..

Webb finally get pissed and tells them "the hell with it then" LOL.

I think they still should have took the chance on him anyway.

Webb for president in 2012 i guess.

Webb for president in 2012 i guess. The media already has a field day witht he Muslim bullshit, you throw a rebel sympathizer in the mix, and they'd go ape shit.

Whats wrong with it??

The gop has made and living off of the rebel flag in terms of winning votes in the south, why can't the dems?

Jim Webb is far better candidate then that windbag McCain.

Jim Webb is far better candidate then that windbag McCain. That's the GOP, the good ol boys....

What good is gaining a few votes in the south, if you lose entire states in the north ?

I don't see Webb costing Obama votes in the blue states, although i see him winning votes in the red states with webb.

Va would have been a sure pick up.

Bottomline was Webb was obamas best chance at winning.

Bottomline was Webb was obamas best chance at winning. He'd have lost any shot he had in Indiana, where he's polling very well. He'd have probably wound up losing Pennsylvania and Michigan as well. You can't take a rebel sympathizer and expect to hold on to states with a large black population that are already extremely close either way.

Sixx: Is There Any Vice Presidential Candidate that either could pick, that would cause you to consider no longer voting for the person you thought you might vote for ? I'm a big Mitt Romney fan and so therefore if McCain taps him for POTUS I might... No, wait.

McCain would still be on the ticket.

Damn.
