Is There Any Vice Presidential Candidate that either could pick, that would cause you to consider no longer voting for the person you thought you might vote for ?

The Democrats would have probably lost a seat to the Republicans in that state over a Webb VP run.
(Besides, career-wise it's the best thing for Webb.

And it seems to me that anyone who either draws attention away from Obama or causes him the slightest embarssment is dropped like a bad habit.

He'd have lost any shot he had in Indiana, where he's polling very well.
He'd have probably wound up losing Pennsylvania and Michigan as well.
You can't take a rebel sympathizer and expect to hold on to states with a large black population that are already extremely close either way.
