GamesRadar Forums: Dear GamesRadar, ...

I am a regular user of your wonderful website.

Ever since you guys bought Cheat Planet, you've been my number one stop for news, reviews, and cheats.

Well.. not really.

I still go to GameFaqs for their expansive selection of cheats and walkthroughs;

And Gametrailers is where I usually check for new reviews.

But if both of those places don't have anything, Gamesradar is easily my next choice. I've signed up for your newsletter.

From scanning over it, I can tell it's very nice.

Maybe I'll read one instead of just deleting it someday.

Probably when I'm able to get a next-gen system, which is the focal point of pretty much all the gaming sites..

So it's really my fault that I can't enjoy all the things you offer me. But not all is lost!

For though I may not enjoy the main part of your site, I have taken quite a fancy with your forums.

But it's apparent that though your forums have grown quite popular, it's well-being does not seem to matter to you.

Which saddens me, I must admit. But, all that is not why I am writing this.

There is something that I have come across more than a few times regarding Gamesradar.

You see, I am an avid user of the Firefox add-on 'StumbleUpon.' A lovely add-on, I must say..

One which gives me hours of entertainment.

I was very much surprised when I stumbled on to Gamesradar itself.

But, for some reason, the page which I stumble on is merely an advertisement.

Which I then have to manually bypass to get to the main page. Now, what does this say about GamesRadar, I ask you?

Do you really think someone who randomly stumbles onto an advertisement is going to want to go through your site?

Come on, that is just so tactless!

You should be ashamed of yourselves! Sincerely Yours, Phantasmagorical. P.S.

Tyler Wilde is way better than any of you other GamesRadar guys.

He should be made president as soon as possible.

So...you're leaving?

I will miss you, sometimes when I remember you.

I dont think hes leaving i think he is complaining about the site itself in general Quote: : So...you're leaving?

Where did it say I was leaving?

What? No where? Ah, yes...

So then it makes sense that I'm not leaving.

Unless I'm banned for this, or something.

>_<

>_1 u wont get banned this is the feedback forrum 2 powergamers been posting strange things also

You deserve to see an advert for using a yucky toolbar!

=p

Pfft, StumbleUpon is awesome.

Only toolbar I use...

I feel your pain, imagine my grief when i tried to get to the wii part of the main site only to be stopped by a PS3 ad!!

Not only annoying but terrible ad placement if i do say so myself

Agreed.

LMAO. Lol, mao (China guy) Anyways, thats cool. Sort of my story. But with google, since its easier just to use the toolbar.

The things I find when I google my own name. Anyway, I'm not sure why an interstitial ad would appear as the first page on Stumble...

I don't know much about the inner workings of such things.

:/

Tyler sorry to be a bother but you said about the badges for the folding team the other dayand i wasnt able to pm you.

I tried that already as well a while back, I believe it's because his box is full. What matters is the folding not the badge anyway.

Old topic is old!

So is googling your name!

I googled my name and i got someone who was on jeperdy

Get the adblock plus add on and all of the ads disappear.

=/ I haven't seen one of the ads at GamesRadar and I don't plan to.

I hope you folks at GR read this, so here goes... I absolutely freaking love your writers.

You guys come up with the funniest, most off the wall ridiculously hilarious **** on the planet.

That's right, I said it...

THE PLANET, and I consider myself an authorityon all things planetary.

Really, I'm aPlanetary Seismologist working with ESA (that's European for the European SpaceAgency :)and living in the US (that's American for th...

Wait your American so - nevermind) I just wanted to say exellent job so far and good luck with the format change.

Oh, and never lose that GamesRadar edginess/angst.

It wouldn't be GR without it.

Oh and uh, I was just kidding about the Plantery Seimothingy, see I can't even schpell it right now, I'm relly a 12 yr.

Old from Brooklyn...

But that's whatever.

Anyway, peace out.

Hey, thanks! That's nice of you to say.

It's always good to know that the extra hours we put into this stuff don't go unappreciated.

Thanks for reading.
