Road Trip, Road Trip, Road Trip, Road Trip, Road Trip, Road Trip, Road Trip, - VZi

How about it, you know you want to Demon Dubs - sunday anyone up for it

ARRR love to but am at a wedding this weekend DAM i keep missing out will get there one of these days

Theres one thing missin from that pic....

An aa van

I would love to, other than My bloody engine is playing up at the mo, scoob is testament to this as he pulled over to give a hand whilst i had broken down on the A6 near to the watergate toll during the middle of the week. Drives fine from cold then after about 7 miles and getting up to a certain temp.

Starts to fit and fart and then cut out If i then allow it a while to cool down it'll then start up again. I know it's an ignition problem (99% certain), i'm thinking either the petronix module in my 009 is starting to play up or the coil possibly.

Other than the ignition with these two items i might have a look at the thermostat, maybe it's not opening the flaps up properly once the engine gets to a certain temp and hence allowing her to run hotter and hotter. The oil level is fine and she's not leaking oil anymore so that's nothing to do with it, also the pulley belt and it's tension is fine. Anyone got any ideas on this?

I'm going to reset the timing this afternoon, as well as putting on a Bosch blue coil and a another thermostat which i both have as spares. Other than this b**lshit for a late stock 1200 engine she's always run really well and is quite nippy at times.

Still runs well until about the seven mile mark! Dan

Would love to but have other plans!!
