Sort Topics Mod - Sort Topics Alphabetically Or By Date New release: Sort Topics Mod V 0.0.2
Update info: This has been updated to include a change in some of the variables (or at least the character spacings) that have appeared in the latest versions of IP.
This updated version now includes a more useful alphabetical sorting of topics when choosing to list by a single letter.
Release: Sort Topics Mod V0.0.1
This is a new mod I've just put together for IP, something which I've been in need of for some time.
It's based on the much older "sort topics alphabetically mod" but modified quite a bit, since the original mod only allowed you to sort by a single letter.
This new improved mod now lets you also list all topics in alphabetical order, either ascending or descending, or by date - newest/oldest.
There are only 3 files to edit, viewforum.php, lang_main.php and viewforum_body.tpl.
In the last of these files, you put in code to allow for the display of letters of the alphabet and sort method, as illustrated here (with topics sorted A-Z):

NB above demo is on a modded phpBBXS, but this mod has also been test on IP.

I don't know what forum software you are using - But viewforum_body.tpl is an integral part of MG_Themes and Icy Phoenix.

MG is about the only one who supports phpBB3 questions here.
