The war of the Apples is over as Steve Jobs' Apple Inc and The Beatles' Apple Corp reach a new agreement.

Apple Inc will now own all of the trademarks

Darn, I've been interested in this for ages but now we won't be told what the terms of the agreement are!

I think I found the prospect of Apple Inc possibly having to change it's name rather amusing. Not that I dislike Apple or Macs...well no more than MS.

I don't think that that scenario was ever on the cards.

It's great that these two companies have patched things up though, and I fully agree with the story, Apple Inc.

Are the serious beneficiaries of this agreement, at least at first glance. I wonder just how much Apple Inc.

Excellent. I have been a fan of the Beatles even longer than Apple (computer) and was not 'appy that they were pushed into conflict.

Of course, Apple (computer) is in the stronger position (at the moment) but I hope they did the decent thing.

The world (and itunes) would be a better place with more access to Beatles' (and let's not forget other Apple artists') music.

I'm so happy...hate them feckin' Beatles....well hate is a strong word....just don't like 90% of their songs... Mind you I feel the same way about the Stones and Led Zeppelin...maybe I didn't get enough fibre as a child....
