Ahhh man... been waiting for something new and its MKII?
I respect it and all and I understand why ppl like it but i SUCK at fighting games.
I'm decent at everything but.
Argh.
Oh well, guess I'll go back to waiting....

I still got the old Mega Drive version.
I know I will have alot of MK3 fans disagree with me but MKII was my personal fave.
Not saying 1, 3, trilogy were bad, they were great.
Anything AFTER Trilogy was bad
The series needs to go back to 2D, like Sonic.
Its not the same in 3D.

Iv been playing this game online and its heaps of fun.
But im finding im getting heaps of lag.
Is this because im running my ps3 wireless (i have a ADSL+2 connection).

Shouldn't be, resistance runs lag free for me but this does lag a bit.
I get annoyed though, I'm an ok player at this game(used to play it alot as a kid) and sometimes I kick someones ass in the first round and they disconnect at the start of the second.
I hope that counts as a win for myself.
I was getting my ass handed to me by some guy yesterday but I thought it was fun to keep trying to beat him, I got close but couldn't do it in the end.

i agree with you on the MKII call, i think it's easily the best of the 2D games.
i disagree with the 2D/3D call though.
MK4 was bad, very bad, but i think DA, Deception and Armageddon are solid games.
If only they'd stop taking the EA route and actually change something between titles.
and bring back personalised fatalities.
I really dislike the make-a-fatality mode of Armageddon.

Yeah i dont get any lag for resistance or Motorstorm eva.
I just played AussieBulls online in mortal kombat and there wasnt any lag.
But then i play other people (i dont know what country they are from) and it gets to the point were it is unplayable sometimes, it goes that slow.
But games like NBA street and def Jam icon which are on global servers also have the lag.

I'd count that as a win.If they do that then they must be a natural born loser.

Hrmm I donwloaded this, I was quite taken back old dodgy the interface is (menus).
Looks like a 10 year old designed them.
I was also shocked at the size of the game, coming in at 250 meg?
I don't understand why it is so big?
When MK3 is 50 MB on the 360.
The sound is off too (crackles sometimes and sounds quality is bad), the emulation is a bit dodge.
Bit disapointed all round when comparing MK3 on the 360 port.

Is it just me or is this game alot harder on single player than it use to be.
Im playing it on the default hardness and i cant even get past the 4 fight.

It sounds like the game has a crappy net code.
The same thing happens with a few of the 360 arcade titles.
