Model Sheet Challenge (due 8-24) - Penciljack Forum

Choose any established character and draw them in a variety of poses.

The challenge is to see if you can keep the character on model (keep all proportions the same from any view.) Rules: - You must draw an already established comic book or video game character.

(no original characters.) - You must draw that character in at least 4 different poses.

You can draw more if you like.

But no more than 6. - You may not change the character's clothing from pose to pose. - No colour. - Line art only.

No shading or rendering.

(if you wish to show shading it must be done with a single separation line.) - No backgrounds accepted. The more challenging and dynamic poses while keeping the character on model the better.

Also obviously you will get additional merit for choosing more difficultly designed characters. Are you up to it? Due Sunday week.

Actually this should say due 24 08 08.

Can a mod change it?

Thanks.

I may be down for this (being an animation major and all) Let me give it a whirl. -Jon

I'd really like to see some regulars have a go at this.

It's like a pure focus on characterization.

Nine days isn't much time, but I *might* do this.

We'll see, I have to move next week so I may not have time.

I might be down for this one too.

I'll research some characters and see who i wanna draw.

Damn. I really need some experience gauging how close I should put the deadline.

I thought people might think two weeks was too long for this one.

Just being line drawings n all.
