Friday, Friday, Friday -- woohoo!! What's going on? - Spiffy Moms | chat - think - be you
It's Friday, it's Friday!
What's going on today?
Any big plans for the weekend?
|
 |
Dave and I took Danielle out for breakfast today.
The older two girls are going to HSM on Ice tonight with their Girl Scout troop.
The younger two and I are going to rent a movie and have a picnic dinner in the living room.
Tomorrow I'm cleaning and cooking for...
...
A surprise 40th birthday party for Dave on Sunday!!

|
I Think we will be just hanging out at home this weekend.
|
 |
Back in the office today - dropped the girls off at school (a rare occurence) and then hightailed it to the office!
Not much planned for tonight.
The girls have gymnastics tomorrow morning.
Then in the afternoon, we may do a trip to the pumpkin farm, but I'm not so sure because the girls are going on a field trip in a few weeks with their school.
other than that, just the usual cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping and playing disney princess monopoly for the hundredth time.

I'm usually off on Fridays, but today I'm here at work.
Xander played hooky from school today to go see Disney Playhouse Live with my MIL and her sister.
Kyle's going with also.
I got to wake up this morning, with NOBODY in the house.
Eric already left for work and the boys were at my MIL's.
WOOT! I actually got to watch the news, hang out in my jammies and relax before work.
I didn't have to run around at all getting everyone ready to leave.
That was awesome.
I just rolled into work and I'm happy because technically, our office is closed today.
My sister is out of town and I'm not even supposed to be here so I don't have to answer the phone at all.
I am here today instead of workign this weekend and on the weekends, all I do is work on getting pictures color-corrected and ready for the new catalog and our website.
Which means no talking to customers.
I'm here on my own time and that actually makes me want to come in to work.
After work, I have to go to Kyle's new daycare and drop off the registration payment, get all the papers to fill out over the weekend and then head home.
Tonight, we have nothing planned since I'm sure I'll be stuck in major Chicago traffic being that it's Friday and it will take me at least 1-1/2 hours to get home, if not 2 hours.

Absolutely nothing.
And we won't be doing anything all weekend.
Caleb has strep throat.
I spent yesterday cleaning out ALL of our closets.
Not sure what to do today.
The house is clean.
I have some laundry that needs to be folded and some that needs washed but that is it

I taught this morning, and then I had lunch with Sean.
We meet after my class for lunch at a diner near campus that has great food for very cheap on Fridays, so that's always fun.
I think I'm taking Thomas to the science center after school.
Sean's boss told him to take it easy today because they just finished a big project, so he's going to meet us there around 2:30 or 3:00 and we're going to head home.
I want to go through a few boxes in the basement, and once Thomas is asleep we're going to watch 28 Weeks Later.
I think that's all.

 |
We're sick. Gabriel and Liam have the day off school, and they're a little hyper, and sick, and it's raining.
But we're not horribly sick, and I'm looking forward to the weekend.
|
 |
I took Cailin to school, went for a brisk walk (I'll consider it cardio ) and now I'm babysitting.
The best part is that I get to drop of the extra kids after school instead of keeping them till 6 pm so I get an early start on the weekend.
I need to throw dinner in the crock pot (chili with low fat ground turkey) but that's it.
No plans for this weekend, yet.

I'm tired. Sasha was needing alot of attention today.
She was fun and all but wouldn't play on her own.
And she has started shouting while we are out shopping or in the library.
O the joy I'm starting to get "those" looks from other people
But little miss is now asleep for the night, we have opened a bottle of wine and shortly we will be settling down to watch catch up episodes of Heroes James is not working tonight for the first time this week so it is bliss.

I came up to the city this morning, leaving Madalyn at school and JZ and Eliza with dh.
I toured one apartment building and went by the leasing office of another for more info.
I ate at my favorite burger joint here and now I'm at Borders, checking in online before I go up to the register and spend w y too much money.
(Hey, more than half of what I'm getting is books for Madalyn for her birthday, so it's not that bad.)
After this I'm going to the mall (helloooo, Gymboree!) and Toys R Us.
I may see a movie at the mall if there's anything that really grabs me.
I will be home sometime this evening, hopefully in time to put the kids to bed.

Went shopping at Big Lots today to pick up bookshelves for the loft.
BLs had them $10 cheaper than anywhere else and I had a 20% off coupon!
Yeah!
Now I've been trying not to kill my dd as she has been "trying to take a nap" for about 1.5 hrs.
I'm sure she'll fall asleep just as we have to leave (in 1/2 hour) for our Science class.
Michael is still asleep which means this is going to be a L ng day as Mick is gone for the evening.
MOF,this is going to be an awfully long, busy weekend with Mick mostly gone and gone for the night both tonight and tomorrow night.
Is it Monday yet?

I just got home from work and BOY am I tired!!
We had some WILD WILD boys today!!
:chuckle Tonight, we are just doing a family dinner(fish tacos...YUM!!).
Tomorrow, we have no plans as of yet.
Sunday, Rob's company picnic, which I am soo excited for!!
Last year it was awesome.
It's like a carnival but everything is FREE!!
They had tons of food, rides and games for the kids, raffles and BINGO for the adults.
I can't wait!

Well... its Saturday today and I am doing homework again.
I did go to the insurance off with Josh to review our life insurance policies and bought some more life insurance
Tanner has a couple ball games today which I am not going to and then Josh is gone to the Canucks tonight, I will be doing more homework and the girls are just going to chill out.
(we don't have a car so can't go anywhere)
tomorrow we are going for our second thanksgiving dinner at my inlaws and I will bringing along my homework to do there *sigh*

Hi Jenny,
how is college going?
Hope you are enjoying it!
(even with all the homework).
Well today I was unexpectantly looking after Sasha on my own as James had to take the car in to be fixed.
He left this morning at 8am and only got back a half hour ago (9.15pm).
But at least the car is fixed
I'm tired.
Sasha was incredibly cranky this morning, as was I since she woke up at 5 and refused to go back to sleep, even when we were pretending to be asleep
She went down for a nap and slept for nearly 2 hours and awoke a happy playful girl, so it wasn't too bad.
Then my mother took her for a few hours so I got to chill out.
What bliss.
Tomorrow I get the lie in and then we are going shopping, just the three of us.
Can't wait
